I have also heard that you can add a track with edison on your master channel to compare with your track that is being worked on with all your mastering going on the premaster channel. Do any of the fl users do this the opposite way and put your master chain effects in the premaster channel and use your master channel to adjust a bit of overall volume. I do use a premaster channel just to lower volume to keep a bit of dynamics in the mixdown or to a add a filter to automate in the overall mix for an effect.
